It's rare that I get feedback, let alone feature requests, for this site but just a few weeks ago I went for the traditional cup of coffee with two of my friends and one mentioned that there was no place to give feedback or interact with the site at all. I was amazed that anyone actually comes here other than me and internet spiders, but alas! I had a reason to develop this site further.

I intenionally set this site up the way that I wanted to do everything myself. I could have just easily installed WordPress here and had all of these nice features like commenting and WYSIWYG editing but that's not what this is all about. If I just wanted a website, I could have gone to Wix and they would have done all the domain registration and rented a virtual server somewhere to host this piece of shit site. I wanted to live it up with this site, write all the shitty HTML myself, handle the backend, deal with infuriating updates, all of that beautiful garbage.

My DIY attitude includes the commenting section. To get that off the ground I had to write the PHP myself, the first step being to learn PHP. If I knew how much PHP I would end up writing for work and everything else I would have actually gone and studied it for real. However with this global pandemic I've had the oppurtunity to write shitty PHP code and get the commenting section done. I as of now didn't put up a reCaptha so I'm just going to hope the dick pill selling bots don't find it. Otherwise it's time to write a reCaptha.

Start the healing and say something to me

I know most people would likely want to be able to comment individual posts that would require me to redesign parts of the site and I wanted this project to only be a 2-4 hours tops. The board is a good hold over for when I get the chance for a larger redesign. BTW I also de-googled the site, those anaglyphic fonts were cool that I used in headings but Google is evil, don't want anything to do with them.

Maybe I should go outside or something, I've been inside since Tuesday and this can't be too good for my health, COVID-19 be damned.
