The cruelest month just passed me by. I swear I tried to get at least a single post out last month but things got in the way, like always.

I was going to write about my annual Easter Robocop rewatch and all that but it's pretty much already summer now. Believe it or not I actually had a week off last month. I spent it in absolute bliss doing nothing special at all.

I've started doing the New York Times crossword on the regular now with my girlfriend. It's been a dream of mine to wake up, drink some coffee and do the NYT crossword. Now I can scratch that off the accomplishments list. I hadn't done a crossword for years before this and getting started was rough. By now I'm able to complete the Monday puzzle pretty much but for the ones later in the week all bets are off. The Sunday puzzle gives me anxiety just looking at it.

I'm not too sure about the newspaper itself to be honest. At least you can just buy the crossword if the paper's getting on your nerves.

My friend who's in the same D&D group made this awesome picture of my character reacting to another member of the party killing some children. I've been playing this D&D game for almost a year now, since all of Covid stuff started. There's a depth to tabletop roleplaying that I'm really starting to like. At first I wasn't really sure how to craft my character or what kind of personality he should have. I play him as a baffoon and I think it gives some levity to the otherwise pretty serious, and sometimes grim, story. My character has gone a long way.

This is a short post today. I've been putting this off for so long that I had to write SOMETHING. I'll try not being lame and get to writing some more shortly. Thanks for your patience, the two people who follow this thing.
